Payment taken out twice

Recently bought a phone holder for £4.95 on eBay but my account shows payment taken out twice? I contacted seller but they insist only one payment received. Can anyone help or explain please

if there are 2 payments showing in your paypal account then contact the seller and ask them to refund x1 of them.

I'm sorry to hear that you're seeing a duplicate payment in your PayPal account! It may be a situation where there is a separate line for the order's authorization and then for the actual payment. If that's not the case and the seller states that the payment was only received once, you can open a dispute for a duplicate payment.
