Payment protection

If I’m buying something from an individual and it turns out not to be authentic am I protected? Do I get my money back? Is there a way to put a hold on a payment until the item is authenticated?

Hi @Jimb2,

Thank you for your post! If an item is significantly not as described, you have the option of disputing the transaction up to 180 days from the date of the transaction. If the dispute is found in your favor, you will be able to return the item for a refund, but shipping charges for return are the responsibility of the buyer. There is a Return Shipping On Us program that assists with return shipping charges in the event of a problem.

I hope this helps!
