Paying to ship damaged merchandise back on my dime

I ordered a human Brazilian wig from: HAIR ESHOP aka SEGO for $102.98 I received the wig. The black box was not taped as if someone had already opened it. It reaked of cigarettes. The lace on the wig had pin points on it As if someone had started to prepare the wig. The lace piece of it was cut As if someone started cutting the lace. The baby hairs one section was straightened. I emailed the company they want me to pay to send it back to China. The address on the package says: Jamaica NY. Why should I have to pay for a already pre~ used wig shipping back to China when the shipping was free if you buy a wig over $50. They should send me a pre~ paid label and give me back my $102.98 back. Sending a wig to China OMG that will be a lot of money. So I loose money ON SHIPPING and they gain. When I bought a $30 wig it was the wrong color. So I decided to send it back it would have cost me $17. So I decided to just keep it. It was not worth it. But $102.98 is not $30.What do you think?

Typical China based website using depots for supply in your country but return to China.

No shipping addy for returns on website.

No phone contact info just an email form.

Great piccies, tat items.

Unfortunately................

Paypal buyer protection can never be a 100% coverall, so in the event of a dispute you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you buy from that seller / item / country.

Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

Although they will compensate you for ''some'' of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction .....

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.
