PayPal supporting buyers return of a broken product after using for 2 months

Hi all,

 

I sold an used Dyson fan without warranty , face to face after buyer testing in at my place, now request a refund after using for 2 months in summer saysing now it's broken "not as discribed", Paypal supporting this, I think it's not fair for the seller, any thoughts?

Yeah...Sellers are not protected from Not as described cases (unless it's some buyer's remorse reason), only Item Not Received and Unauthorized payment have protection (even that can be limited depending on the circumstances) and buyers have 180 days from date of payment to open a dispute. PayPal Seller protection is not a guarantee, or insurance, PayPal never claims this and so has it's limitations. You have to accept a return before the buyer gets a refund.
