Hi all. My son saw a mobile phone for sale on market place and thought it would be a good idea to use PayPal to purchase it. My son opened a new PayPal account and so did the seller. The transaction went through as goods and services thinking that was the correct thing to do. My son the phone but the seller hasn’t received the money. PayPal have emailed my son to say they are closing his PayPal account because of some “activity” on his account. The phone purchase is the only time he has ever used PayPal. Obviously the seller is not happy that he hasn’t received his money. Has anyone else had this much money stolen by PayPal?
