I have been the victim of a scam. I purchased an expensive (Hong Kong) electronic item which did not work. The technician I asked to install it for me was not surprised – cheap and useless junk he said. I was given an address to return it to but it came back, as the address did not exist. The company was sympathetic until I asked them if they were scamming me, at which point all communication ceased. I have always used PayPal in the belief that they would protect me from such people. Am I being naive? Does anyone have a suggestion, as PayPal is refusing to help? Bruce.
If you paid with credit card, suggest you call them to dispute.
