PayPal Account Permanently Limited(Not Selling Anything)

Hey, I recently got a limitation that I had to put my ID in to remove it. I put my Work Visa/Medical ID since I am not a national and am working as a Doctor in the UK. My home country does not have PayPal so I didn’t use that passport. 2 days after putting my ID, I get a email saying I am permanently limited and in my account, it says permanently limited too so it’s not a scam. I don’t sell anything and I just made a PayPal account and have only received a little bit of money in it(£50 or so). Please help me with this.

I have the 'same' issue. I have sold my old laptop through ebay - the same one I've purchased 2 years prior - also through ebay.

Next thing - my payment was on hold for a MONTH - even after providing the tracking number AND the buyer RECEIVING the laptop.

A week after the purchase my account has been limited. Trying to contact the paypal is painful - every single time the limitation has been lifted (first after conversation with fraud specialist from paypal that admitted it was due to system error, then another, at this point I can't even remember, two times).

 

Sending messages seems to be just a waste of time - all paypal will do is send you the exact same message you got through an email, saying your account is limited because of 'reasons'. Paypal doesn't care. If you get your account unlocked it will be locked within a week or two - for no reason.

Frustrating.

Literally the exact same problem. My husband and I sold some collectors items that we have had for years and I wouldn't even know where to begin to look for a purchase receipt for, and now my account is on hold and I can't get my money that is there. Money that is not all from those two transactions, money sent as Christmas gifts to me. This is after literally two instances of selling collectors items on ebay. What exactly did anyone else do before their account was unlocked? Did you complain? Message paypal? I know trying to get anything out of customer support is hopeless but what attempts did people make before their accounts were randomly unlocked? I can't lose the money in my account and the resolution center is threatening further limitations of I can't provide a receipt I don't have by Feb 5
