I sold an item for a set price with shipping included in the price. I listed that full price in the item line and left the shipping cost line blank. I printed my label directly from PayPal, so used the address provided by the seller. A week later, the package was returned to me because the name (a business name) on the package was not listed on the box information to forward from the post office. I offered the buyer to pay shipping for me to re-ship the item where they could update the address or I would be willing to refund the part of the payment that I did not use to cover the shipping costs. The buyer is unhappy with either option, so I told them that they could file a claim. Now I’m worried that I might get sided against if they do file because I didn’t separate the item cost and shipping cost in the invoice. Any experience with this?
