I REALLY THINK PAYPAL IS BEING HEARTLESS AND CRUEL, WHEN IT COMES TO TRUSTING THEM TO STOP PAYMENT ON SOMETHING THAT TURNS OUT TO BE A SCAM. $100.00 IS HALF MY FOOD BUDGET FOR THE MONTH AND THEY CANT HELP OR SEE THE PURCHASE AND STOP THE SALE UNTIL ITS RESEARCHED, I WAS SCAMED BY THE POWER WHEELS SALE, I AM MORE HURT FOR SOME REASON THAN ANGRY. I AM 62 AND TRIED TO MAKE A PURCHASE I SAVED UP FOR A YEAR FOR MY GRANDBABY. MY FAULT I TRUSTED THEM WHEN THEY CLAIMED TO BACK UP MY PURCHASE.

Sadly paypal is not an insurance policy or claims to be.

They give you 'some' buyer protection but its up to you to risk assess your own transactions.

Paypal can't STOP a completed payment, they can't take funds from someone elses paypal account unless its as the result of a legal dispute.

So if you don't get the item OR the item is misdescribed then you can open a paypal dispute and post back for more advice if you want it.

Not sure what being 62 has to do with anything to be honest.
