I purchased $200 of 2 La Mer skincare items. I did not open them for 6 months because (1). I still had not finished the cream that I already had (2). I carefully researched the seller who at that time only had 2 negative feedbacks. His negative feedback numbers climbed dramatically after I purchased my items (3). Photos were of an item that looked to be authentic ( 4). I am too trusting of a buyer and do not question a sellers reputation. It is ebays job to discredit poor sellers.
I began sending him messages before the 180 day limit was up but did not file an actual dispute. I kept waiting on a reply. Many, many sent messages without a single reply. What can I do? He still has an active ebay and paypal account.
Now I am over the 180 day limit for filing a dispute. What can I do?

If you paid with a credit card, take it up with the card issuer. But because you've waited so long, its possible that they might deny the dispute but try it anyway.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
