On hold for over 4 hours (and counting)...

I have been on hold with PayPal for over 4 hours now. Already missed a couple of important work meetings but it took me so long to even get ahold of a human person that I'm desperate to stay on hold and get this resolved because someone stole my money from my PayPal account. Does anyone have advice?

After being on hold for over 5 hours, they hung up on me. I called back and was put on hold again so I've been on hold for over 6 hours and counting now...how long will it take? Am I going to be on PayPal hold for the rest of my life and never get my money back that someone stole from me? 😞
