Never received item, Paypal closed case

on September 26, 2020 I purchased an item . On October 17, 2020 PayPal recommended i contact the seller. I did, they said item was in transit. PayPal closed the case on November 6, 2020 to date I have not received item. PayPal is so difficult to satisfy what they claim to protect. I am extremely disappointed w this service. I can never recommend PAYPAL

The idea is that you contact the seller and then if no item or response you ESCALATE the dispute to a claim which is when paypal gets involved.

If you don't escalate within 20 days the dispute will auto-close which it sounds as if it did.

They tell you all this in the email you receive AND on the dispute.
