Never pay with PayPal balance

I learned that if you have a dispute Paypal will close it in a few weeks even if it’s not resolved. IF you paid with a credit card you can take it to term. If you paid with a Paypal Balance , Paypal throws you under the bus and will not help you. Never ever pay with PayPal balance as you have no buyer protection

Not true, thousands of users that paid with a balance get refunds.

You just have to remember to escalate to a claim as unless you do paypal don't get involved.

That’s not true. Both Paypal and Ebay close cases before resolution and refuse to reopen them. You’re dealing with a system that refuses to make waivers or exceptions. It’s not customer friendly.

Yep they often close cases if you are not covered by buyer protection for some reason but that has nothing to do with paying with your paypal balance.
