So last night I received an email from Paypal on March 29 2021, that a claim was submitted against me for $617.00. I logged into the account and saw in big red number a negative paypal balance. I went to the activity tab and resolution center I see a claim for unauthorized transaction of said amount back on March 8 2021. This is a transaction from a friend that had sent me funds that were his via Paypal as his Cash App was not working so I received the $600.00 and in turn sent back the funds back to him on the same day. Yes, we had done previous transactions no problem but now he put in a claim for an unauthorized transaction through his financial institution. I never received addition funds after March 8 2021 or any other transactions from this person. I am concerned because Paypal might want to pay back the negative balance which I don't owe.
