Hello!
My account was taken down because I am under the age of 18. I have money in my account that is frozen and I will be contacted in 180 days to retrieve to money. I cannot wait that long and need to money now, or to be able to send it to my mom. Is there anything I can do to speed up this process?

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.
PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will be subject to sending and receiving limits.
When you reach those limits you will be unable to verify your account so your account would be locked for further use.
Minors can’t enter legal contracts so you won’t have any recourse to get your money back.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that’s inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services.
Any bank or credit card information linked to your PayPal account cannot be removed nor can it be used to create a new account. You can still log in and see your account information but you can’t send or receive money. Any money in your balance will be held for 180 days, after which we’ll send you an email with instructions about transferring your money"

You might not be able to get it sooner because the 180 days is how long senders can file a dispute to get money back if there are incomplete transactions so it depends on how old some of the payments are and how likely disputes are filed on payments in your account. Any funds left over, PayPal will contact you when you can withdraw. Contact customer service to see if you can possibly withdraw it in 30 or 60 days and again this depends on how old the payments are I would imagine.
Contact customer service:
Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.
Or private message via social media:
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/paypal
Twitter: @AskPayPal
You can always wait until you are 18 and contact PayPal for assistance in closing your account and establishing a new one and moving those funds over to new account.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
