I'm hoping someone can help as Paypal haven't helped at all.
My girlfriend started seeing money coming out of her paypal account. She went to change the password and found the password had already been changed, along with the email address on the account. She therefore had no way of stopping the transactions or logging on to tell Paypal that it was fraud.
She called her bank to block any transactions but all they did was send her a new card and now this morning every penny she owns has been taken out of her account.
I don't know what to tell her to do. I can't find any number to just call paypal and explain the situation. Can someone help me? We're struggling with work due to Covid and this was all the money she had to pay her mortgage over the next few months whilst she's not working.
