Since I don't seem to be able to get any help from Paypal directly I noticed yesterday a payment on our bank account through Paypal I did not make. tried to log into my business account to find it has been taken over by someone and all my transactions are gone along with a fraudulent phone number set up along with a fraudulent owner name. I closed the linked bank account and reporting the fraudulent charge to my bank. Luckily I have an old personal Paypal account I switched over to at least be able to accept orders.
I have tried the useless resolution center to get my balance on that account. I am not sure if I should try to recover the account (or if I even should ) but I am worried my information would be compromised. A company as big as Paypal is really dropping the ball here with support. Called my TD bank at 1am this morning and got help from them right away.
