Mid refund claim, seller ships item

So I started a buyer protection claim for an unshipped item and asked for a refund. While going about this and PayPal gathering information, the seller decides to ship the item. As its been a month since I placed the order and the item only shipped after I started the claim, I no longer have any want for the item, hence my asking for a refund. Will I still be required to pay out for this even though I wanted a refund because of the seller inability to ship in a timely manner?

Paypal covers you for non receipt of item, OR item received but not as described.

So if the seller can prove trackable proof of delivery of the item to you before any dispute is decided then they would win a dispute for non receipt.

Sadly paypal does not cover you changing your mind because the seller took their time to despatch the item.

Bet it was one of these?? >>>

Chinese Web Sites or on Facebook easy to spot so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.
