A few days ago I purchased something through a company that a friend had told me about last year. I clicked on the website link she'd sent me and placed the order with no problem, paying through PayPal - when Paypal tried to direct me back to the merchant after the payment went through, the web link they used was broken and the email that Paypal provided on the receipt bounced back when I tried to inquire with the vendor. I have no idea if anyone has received my order or if it will be sent to me.
I opened a dispute and Paypal has rejected it, saying the transaction was not unauthorized. I have no idea if this vendor is even still operating and I have no way of reaching them.
Does this mean I am out over $100 with no recourse? I am so frustrated.
