PayPal sent me an email saying access has been restored. There was a limitation on there and so I had to provide an ID and utility bill. I then received another email saying they needed my fathers ID and proof of residence...the PayPal account is under my name. My bank account is under my name. I messaged them asking why this was necessary and they told me they’re unable to provide that information and that I’m order to lift the limitation off they need his info. My father lives in California and I live in North Carolina so this makes no sense to me. Has someone else received an email like that. If so, do you happen to know why they need my fathers info?
