Late refund for item not received?

Hi,

Is there any way to apply PayPal Buyer Protection for a dispute that was opened 24 days ago? The seller was telling me to wait more weeks till they can resolve the issue and I could not escalate to PayPal as they suggested to wait almost the same amount as the 20 days deadline to escalate (14 days 4 days after I complained).

I was not aware of the 20 day deadline, I feel betrayed that the seller was trying to (and succeeding in) extending the conversation so I no longer have this opportunity.

Thanks for the help

All you can do is ask customer services if they will open a second one for you but personally i doubt it.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
