So I fell for one of those fake Chinese shopping sites and only realized afterwards what had happened. I requested a cancellation from them but they just sent an automated response and appear to be ghosting me. Read some reviews from other folks who fell for this and they said the people running the site ghosted them too then told somebody she was too late and they can't refund her money because they sent out the product (she waited for their response for two days after asking to cancel the order). I've contacted Paypal and escalated my case since it really appears that the company will not get back to me in a timely manner and waiting for a response is just a waste of time. What else can I or Paypal do before it's too late?
