Item sent to wrong address

Hello,
I have sent a roll of fabric to a customer. The lady did not update her paypal address but shortly after buying she sent an email asking me to not send it to the paypal address as it was her daughter student accommodation.
I was not home at the time but did reply saying I would do that.
I sent the fabric the next day but unfortunately, forgot that she had sent this message... easily done I would say. Especially under these circumstances.
I am working from home and also looking after my 5 year old daughter.
Do I have to refund her?

Sorry but if she wanted it sent to another address it would be her responsibility to add a 'gift' address and select that at the time she sent the payment to you.
NEVER send an item to an address that is NOT the buyers paypal registered address at the time of payment or you would have 0 paypal seller protection.
Advice is voluntary.
