I purchased a Louis Vuitton bag through PayPal for my girlfriend. She purchased it from a Facebook market place and the seller stated several times that the bag was authentic. Not a identical version, completely authentic. Of course, upon receiving the bag, that was not the case. I went through the PayPal claim case as the TOS states that an item should be as stated. I was denied the case however because there was no evidence found of misrepresentation. I have a screenshot of the conversation with the seller stating it was authentic! I don’t understand. Is there anything else that I am able to do?! It’s so frustrating. Thank you so much.

You need to take the bag to an authorizated LV dealer and get a letter of “non-authenticity” on company letterhead and then go back and appeal the case.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
