Item refund return

Hello,

I just refunded a faulty item (shoes), paypal send me the money on PayPal (not yet on my card) but what do I do with the faulty item when the seller is not responding? Like I still have the box it came in with his adress on it, but I dont know if its his adress or what is it. So where do I send this item when the seller is not responding? And do I need to keep track of it or have some confirmation or what?
Also how much time do I have to send it, since im from Europe and he is from US.

If PayPal send you a full refund and the seller does not respond at all then your case is resolved/closed. No need to send shoes back.
