Item not sent and no paypal refund

I purchased an item on eBay 27 June and I havent received it, I opened a claim with paypal and they have closed the case without refunding me, why and what can I do?

I had a similar issue. The item I received was very different and worth significantly less than advertised, and paypal closed the case without giving any information or letting me know why. The only reason I use PayPal is the added security, seems pointless using it if they don't actually give you that security.

How did you PAY for the item ie which Paypal option did you choose OR did the seller send you a money request /  invoice or was it through their website.

 

How did you FUND the payment which funding source did you use?

 

Did you escalate the dispute to a claim?

 

Which option did you select to open the dispute?

 

If you answer all 4 I will check back again.
