Hello,
I am just a new user of paypal. What happened to me is I traded a gaming account with a guy. This guy seem to be very nice. He made me believe him that he is neva a scammer. I paid him $150, he gave me all of the information of account except the most important details: payment method.
The gaming account used a special email domain. It is Tutanota mail.
I found out that he used a premium account which he need to pay $2 each month to keep the mail work. When he sold the account to me, it was downgrade to a free account that's why I did not know anything about payment.
After 1 week, the gaming account was recovered to its owner.
I wrote an email to Tutanota and found out that its owner used his paypal and payment record/proof to recover that email.
Now I lost the money but I know his paypal email.
What can I do ? can I report to paypal this scammer and is there anything paypal can do to make it fair?
If you know the answer kindly let me know.
I feel hopeless now.
