Is the resolution centres decision final?

I had a case open since early July, I ordered an item and they sent me something completely different, I sent pictures to show the order number and the seller asked me to return the item and I would get a refund, I returned the item sent them the tracking number etc. The package got lost in the post and now the resolution team have shut my case and said no refund 🤬 I am so cross I have been scammed and paid extra for postage back and now no refund, I have never had a problem like this I feel so gutted. I don't know who to contact? Any help would be appreciated.

If your parcel got lost then claim from the courier you used to send it?
