If I send an item before echeck clears

So I'm looking to sell on depop and if someone buys an item using echeck and I send the item before the echeck clears and it turns out that the echeck was denied, is there anything I can do?

Sadly not, best to wait for the echeque to clear.

Why would you need to? Just don't send the item until its cleared.

Just in case I ever make that mistake cos I might not realize that they sent me an eCheck but thanks for the reply

You would know as paypal would say the payment was 'uncleared' so you would know to wait.
