I lost my debit card. Transaction through PayPal still went through to lost debit card account.

I lost my debit card. Transaction through PayPal still went through to lost debit card account.

I lost my debit card. Transaction through PayPal still went through to said lost debit card. That card has since been inactivated but it was inactivated before I could retrieve my received money. Does this make any sense?! Please help 😩😩😩
