I haven’t been refunded and the other guy owes money

So basically I paid someone for an item I thought I got scammed so I reported for refund and the case closes but I didn’t get refund and it says the other guy owes money still.

did the dispute close automatically?

did paypal close the dispute or...

did you escalate to a claim?

did paypal find in your favour?

was a refund issued?
