I have $1500 of unauthorized transactions that I need to report.

I'm getting nowhere. The funds were fraudulently withdrawn from my bank account. When I try to file a report, it goes to a page that says: 

 
We're unable to file a case on this transaction.

Since this is money you’ve received, you'll need to contact the sender directly to resolve your issue.

 

I tried to call customer service and was told by the automated system that they couldn't connect me to an agent.

Same here, but for a lower amount. 

 

This is very scary to me. If PayPal refuses to help, I'll have to leave. A shame, I've been a customer for nearly 20 years
