Hello. I am seeking help from anyone. I foolishly bought a preorder of the Nvidia 3080 on eBay a couple days ago. The seller was unable to obtain the card (shocking) and issued a cancelation. eBay wants me to let them know when I receive the refund from PayPal so we can complete the cancelation. I haven't received the money in a couple days so I opened a dispute on PayPal saying the item was not received. Then I go through many eBay reps and they tell me they can't do anything about my refund because I opened a claim with Paypal. Okay, no problem. I will just close the claim with paypal and eBay will help me right? no. Wrong. Very wrong. Not only will eBay not help me, they tell me to talk to paypal to reopen the dispute. Paypal explicitly says they will not reopen claims. What do I do here? I feel like the money is gone and no one will help me.
