How to confirm I have received my return back, and issue the refund

A buyer wished to have a refund for an item, and I chose the option where it would be issued once I had received the item, however, I have now received it but I cannot find how to confirm I have received it. I have tried the thing listed on paypals help pages, where I go on open cases and then click 'issue full refund' but there is no where I can see this option. In my open cases the only action I can do is open the messages I have exchanged with the buyer, or send the buyer a message, I cannot see how I can issue it, does anyone know what I should do??
thanks

Hi @Parkm1,
It sounds like you were in a dispute, not a claim. If that's the case, the payment is unaffected as the buyer hasn't escalated it to PayPal for review. You should be able to issue a refund by going directly to the transaction in your activity.
