How long to wait for dispute to be resolved during COVID?

I have an open dispute which I believe will easily be closed in my favour (evidence shows item not delivered and a payment taken / lack of comms from seller etc) however the expected resolution date keeps changing... I expected it resolved early December, that got pushed back to late December then into early Jan and now looking today it’s moved again into next week. I appreciate and assume COVID will be having its impact on PayPal but I’ve had nothing to suggest what’s happening and I can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m waiting on £180 which is a massive amount to me. Any help or advice? Thanks in advance. Brian

Paypal it appears are inundated with claims mainly from buyers that bought tat from these China websites or Social Media ads !
So all claims are being pushed back unfortunately.

As long as yours has been escalated from a dispute to a claim, and is still being reviewed then you have the chance of a refund.
Sadly you will have to wait it out in the long queue though especially with staff shortages due to covid impact.
