I'm sorry to hear that you have need to dispute a payment. I'm happy to help!
If the problem with the transaction is that an item has not been received or the item received is not as described, a friends and family payment does not offer the ability to dispute. Friends and family payments are intended to be for gifts to friends and family. No exchange of anything of value is expected with a friends and family payment.
However, if the payment was made without your authorization, you can dispute the payment as unauthorized.
When sending a payment, it is very important to select the appropriate payment type, so that the protections needed can be applied to the transaction. If ever a seller asks you to forgo your protection so they can avoid fees, it's best not to complete the transaction.
