On Saturday I purchased hockey tickets from someone on using Paypal. He allowed me to send him the $ for the tickets. After the money was sent he disappeared and no hockey tickets. I disputed the claim with Paypal and they review my case and said they are not refunding my money. I have all the documents showing the purchase, the time, the user, etc..
What the hell Paypal..

If you sent payment as friends and family, you won't have purchase protection because friends and family payments have no purchase protection, as it is considered a "gift" payment and no problem for seller to disappear/block you. Therefore your dispute will get denied if your only option is to dispute as Unauthorized payment which no one broke in to your account to make this payment. If you paid with credit card, you might want to try and dispute through your card issuer instead, if permitted.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
