I bought a windshield visor for my husbands van in December as a Christmas present. When it arrived we opened the box to check it was the correct item and then put it back in the box. Due to the weather and covid we weren't able to fit it straight away. A few weeks ago we took it out the box and when we took the plastic film off the visor there were cracks and splits in it. The company refused a refund so I opened a case. This has also been denied because its being said that I altered the item. I cant even fit it because its broken! So what should I do? I'm out a lot of money for a useless item

1. If you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then they may chargeback for you?

2. Small claims court if its a UK seller and you didn't buy it from an international seller ie Social Media ad or China website?
