Does anyone know how long a seller has to “hold” the item after the payment has cleared AND they have provided a USPS Tracking Number? I am waiting on a purchase that was made on 5/1, payment cleared the same day. Seller sent confirmation email for the sale at that time. No further communication from the seller even though they stated that they would send an email with the tracking number. I got PayPal involved and the seller finally sent PayPal a tracking number on 5/8. As of this morning, the USPS has not received the package. I am just wondering how much longer I have to wait before I can escalate my case. Thank you.

Normally you get the option to escalate as long as its 7 days post payment.
