Help, purchasing car remotely

Hello,

I am purchasing an auto remotely.  I have spoken to, and texted with the seller multiple times.  Would it be safe to send the money via PayPal, and what protection would there be for myself, the buyer??

PayPal doesn't offer purchase protection for vehicles.

PayPal is usually used as a payment method for a small deposit when buying a vehicle but not for the full purchase price.
