Check with your neighbors and definitely check with your postman and/or post office. I don't know if Royal Mail is anything like US Postal Service where they can give you GPS coordinates of the delivery to see if the item was delivered to your mailing address or redirected to another one (a sign of a scam). Otherwise, the item could have been stolen from delivery location.
