My account was hacked. I froze funds in my account to get this resolved, and I was able to gain access again.
However, this afternoon, I received an email from PayPal saying "You can no longer use PayPal." I am so frustrated. I set up this account recently, linked it to my credit card, received a payment from ebay, and then all of a sudden, someone took over my account, and PayPal blames me and closes the account.
How do I get my money out of the account? How do I ensure nobody else uses my information? Was there a security breach?
The email continues, "After a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we found potential risk associated with it. You'll not be able to use PayPal to send and receive money or shop online." Wth. I did nothing wrong but because I was hacked, I am now locked out of using PayPal. And then I have to wait "for up to 180 days" for the to email me with information on accessing my funds.
Anybody else have this issue? I hope that I never have to use PayPal again. This has wasted so much of my time.
SO FRUSTRATED!
