Get scam by Gmiioy Website but PayPal refused to refund back

Well recently I asked PayPal to refund the money as the website is a dating website which is scam.(same case with @Louiskoh94. Even I give all the evidence, what PayPal told me that the seller have evidence on tracking number by delivering the item. It doesn't make any sense for paying a 3000 USD on a item and that is a dating side. PayPal can't even provide me the seller evidence as they said is P&C. I have file a police report with evidence that I have screenshot on the seller said would refund back the money to me. Not sure is it possible to get back my refund but I just know PayPal is helpless and can't get back the refund.

If you paid with credit card, dispute the transaction through them instead.

I paid by debit card.... And find out is a scam after 3 months... They were try to make a lot excuses on delay to get refund. While I contacted PayPal, the answer that given me not satisfied and not link into the topic. But with the evidence I found and link, everything I put in a word file, waiting for the police to called for evidence. Hopefully will ask PayPal to surrender the evidence from merchant. Still have any ideas what to do? Should I contact MCMC and bank negara too?

What sort of ‘dating website’ asks you to put that much money into it? You sure it’s not an escort  site? File claim that you didn’t receive service. File a claim thru your bank.

Already tried before, what PayPal told me that is merchant able to give a tracking number that the goods delivered to my house. And case closed. Couldn't even appeal the case... Still have any solutions to claim back?

Open new case. Service not as described or item not as described.

If paid thru bank debit or credit card, do a chargeback for service not received.

Will try it again. As scammers already prepared everything. For the bank later will try to launch report. Hope able to get back the refund

Which credit or debit card you used?

Do not file a report. Do a chargeback on said credit or debit card.

Singapore banks do not like doing a chargeback or will tell you that it cannot be done. But it can.
