I recently purchased something off a private seller through a facebook group using friends and family payment. They promptly deleted their Facebook account after taking my money. Is there any way I can chargeback through my bank to get my money back? I’m concerned the Paypal they used was just a throwaway as it had no bank card connected so they would have had to send the money to another account to withdraw it. Can I still receive the money back if that’s the case? I understand now not to use friends and family for purchases.
