I had a friend that owed me $5,000 that I had given them in cash and the only way he was able to repay me with through his credit card. So he sent the money to me I transferred that to my bank and took the money out. Now PayPal wants a bunch of information like a receipt, which was never made up. PayPal restricted my account. What can I do about this.

Write a letter explaining the situation, pdf it and upload it to the case or call PayPal customer service to explain. It is a large amount and PayPal wants to know why you received that amount because maybe there was no note on the payment describing properly what the payment is for.
