Someone (unknown to me) created an eBay account under my name and address but a different phone number (only partial was displayed). Not sure what the motivation is but I only found out because I discovered a charge on my PayPal linked AMEX the same day there was an item "returned" to me. Shipping label indicated eBay Return (which explains the paypal charge on my Amex.
I do not sell on eBay.
PayPal indicated that since the charge doesnt actually show up on my PayPal account I need to report it to AMEX (was already done). Should I close my PayPal account?
