can anyone help?

I VERY RARELY use paypal, and only recently linked my bank account to my paypal account.  I used paypal for 2 purchases recently and now I have a $500 charge from web ID 770510487C.

this transaction isn’t listed on my paypal transactions, only my bank account.

ive disputed the charge with chase but they don’t know if I’ll get the money back. Is there something paypal can do? I tried to dispute it here but since the charge isn’t listed on my account I can’t.

here is what it shows on my bank statement-

GRASSHOPPER TOYS IAT PAYPAL 1007405606445 WEB ID: 770510487C

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and did NOT log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a 'guest buyer'.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.

If that is not the case then contact customer services AND your card issuer to query the transactions.

If you need to open a dispute for a 'guest buyer' transaction then you can.......
1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will open one for you OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

The charge was for $500, and I have not made ANY purchases in that amount. Either on PayPal or through my bank, or online.

the charge wasn’t to my debit card/credit card.  It was taken from my actual account according to the bank.  No card was run.
