Fraudulent Use of Bank Details

Somebody has created a PayPal account using my son's bank details. Lloyd's bank have initially refunded the money but PayPal have taken the money again and there has been further money. Lloyd's are not being very helpful at present ...any suggestions?

Hi @1965brian,

 

I'm sorry to hear about the unauthorized use of your son's information. Letting PayPal know of the use allows PayPal to confirm whether it was a bank or the card associated with the bank, and lets PayPal make sure that the financial instrument used is marked as fraudulent. After that, the card issuer or bank would be able to guide you in recovery of funds, issuance of a new number, and any other steps needed.
