I put a down payment on a puppy. We arrived to pick it up and the seller did not show up! They have not returned my messages and we have contacted the police. They said it was fraud and they were probably using a burner phone and they are out of the United States.
Did you pay using friends/family where you would have negated any of your buyer protection OR goods/services where you would have had buyer protection?
