My account has recently been hacked (business account) and since informing PayPal about this Monday 10am, I only received a reply 27 hours later to say basically my message would be passed on. I was also sent a link to contact the police in the UK though I am based in Ireland. I replied to the reply and now it has been 48 hours since and still no reply.
I am just finding it hard to believe that this is how Fraud/illegal activity is processed with PayPal.
Has anybody had an issue like this before that they could resolve using another method?
Their phone lines are down due to covid (but every other company I deal with are taking calls from home)
The only option is to deal with their bots which to be fair, are useless.
